Musician Pallaso is a fairly successful artiste with a list of hit songs to his name. The singer however says that music biz in Uganda is not as lucrative as people assume. He adds that he cannot advise any young person to join.
“Things here are toxic. It’s a gamble. Music in Uganda is like betting. You can't know whether you’ll benefit, make it or not. The conditions are not even favorable.
The politics in the industry make it difficult for most young artists trying to breakthrough,” Pallaso said in an interview.
