Former Kawempe South Member of Parliament, Mubarak Munyagwa, is one of the few people who has come forward to contest the DNA results of Segirinya's children.

Munyagwa believes the results are not accurate and has offered to find legal representation for the wives of the late comic politician.

The popular politician explained that there are a lot of politics at play in the estate of the late Muhammad Segirinya and he will not just look on as things go awry.

"The DNA results don't seem accurate. Something is off. I will ensure the late Ssegirinya's wives receive legal representation. There is something which is not right," he explained in an interview with a local television station.

Munyagwa was joined by Segirinya's widow, Twayiira Akandida, who also contested the DNA results since their release. Akandida says she does not trust the DNA results and believes something is not right with them.

"I don't trust them. Something definitely went wrong, and I believe the truth will come out. To the family, this is not comedy," she explained.

Akandida also denied allegations of attempting to sell the late Segirinya's properties, revealing she has no bad intentions.

"I managed the late Ssegirinya's wealth for a long time. If I intended to sell it, I would have done so while he was hospitalized, but I didn't," she added.
