Singer Eezzy was attacked by thugs in Muyenga while coming from a show in the late hours of the night a few weeks ago.
He sustained major skull injuries which required surgery and the operation was successful.
With Eid day coming closer, many thought Eezzy will be ready to hit the stage again, but he still has a long way to go.
"Healing is a process. Stitches have been removed though he can't get on stage yet," Eezzy updated his fans on social media.
It should be noted that musician Pallaso also underwent knee surgery a day ago.
