Chandiru's career was heading in the right direction until she got addicted to drugs.

After tirelessly fighting the vice, she is back to the studio to make music.

Cindy is excited that Jackie Chandiru is back to doing what she loves most.

Through her social media posts, Cindy wrote,

"It's so good to see you shine again, looking forward to this one," she captioned Chandiru's teaser of her new video.

Her history of addiction started due to troubled love life. It is rumored she failed to recover after she was dumped by lawyer Caleb Alaka, a married man. The fights in the relationship gave birth to “Gold digger” a song that explained her feelings for the married man.

She later married a Dutch man, Nol Van Vliet, who was already married to another woman, a South Sudanese model named, Adut Mawien.
