Musician Cinderella Sanyu, widely known as Cindy, has captivated fans throughout her career with her powerful vocals, energetic stage performances, and a string of hit songs.
An inspiration to a generation of musicians, Cindy has confirmed that she is working on a new album and plans to release it next year.
The President of the Uganda Musicians Association explained in a discussion with journalists that she has been taking her time to ensure she delivers a high-quality product to her fans.
She stated that, unlike many other artists, she aims to release a genuine album with a clear storyline that runs through the entire body of work. "Yes, I think next year I will be releasing an album. I have been working on it slowly. I want to do a genuine album with a storyline," she explained.
Several artists have recently released successful albums in the country. This year alone, albums have been released by Jazmine, Dokta Brain, and the Gagamel boss, who dropped the "Break the Chains" album.
Having been in the industry for almost twenty years, Cindy's music has proven to be timeless. Not only are her fans eager for this new album, but music lovers across the country and East Africa as a whole are also anticipating its release.
