Controversial musician Gloria Bugie has returned to the public eye after a few months away and is once again making headlines. Always seeking an opportunity to be in front of the cameras, the singer has revealed that her booking schedule is currently overwhelming.
She explained that promoters are constantly reaching out to her management to book her for various shows. According to Bugie, they want her to perform everywhere because she draws a crowd. The "Panama" hitmaker says her management has had to turn down some of the bookings to ensure she gets enough rest.
"I am fully booked and overwhelmed. We actually turn down some shows because I have to rest. You know I have the numbers; people cry whenever I perform, so I'm needed everywhere," she said in a local television interview.
Gloria Bugie also remains determined to win a Grammy Award for Uganda. She stated that her focus is on gaining worldwide support because she already has a strong following at home.
"I want to represent Uganda beyond its borders. I want to win a Grammy Award as I promised, so I want people to appreciate me worldwide, just as I am appreciated here at home," she explained.
Gloria Bugie continues to be one of the country's fastest-rising musicians, using controversy to her advantage.
