Musician Cinderella Sanyu has been in the music industry for over fifteen years and has staged concerts at different venues throughout her career.

Over the years, her concerts have been successful, but there have been some that did not meet expectations.

The singer, however, has good news for young and upcoming musicians who are afraid of staging their own concerts.

Cindy says it's good to stage concerts because it is rewarding, even if it is not successful. She explained that musicians gain more publicity, and promoters will reach out to them after the concert.

She says that successful concerts mainly improve a musician's rate card, which is not the same with unsuccessful ones. However, you still get bookings because of the publicity you receive before and after the event.

"I think musicians shouldn't be afraid of staging concerts because they are rewarding in every way. Even without a successful one, you gain publicity and promoters will come to you. However, if it succeeds, it improves your rate card, which is the best," she explained.

Cindy added that her "Boom Party" concert, which took place at Lugogo Cricket Oval, remains her most memorable one because of its success and the boost it gave to her music career.
