Singer Mansur Semanda, popularly known as King Saha, has reaffirmed his loyalty to Bobi Wine and the National Unity Platform (NUP), expressing confidence that more Ugandan artistes will soon join the movement.

Saha, one of the earliest entertainers to publicly align with Bobi Wine’s political struggle, has consistently shown support through music, performances at NUP rallies, and public endorsements of the party’s message.

Speaking about fellow musician Pallaso’s recent decision to take a political stand against the current government, Saha said he wasn’t surprised and believes many more artistes will follow suit.

“Pallaso has always been on our side. He’s just more active now, and I’m happy for what he’s doing,” Saha said during an interview with a local TV station. “I expect many of them to keep joining the struggle. It’s where we are needed — our supporters have stood with us for years, and now it’s our time to stand with them.”

The Zakayo hitmaker explained that NUP’s growing appeal lies in its mass support base, especially among Uganda’s youth and entertainment community, making it natural for artistes to gravitate toward the party.

According to Saha, musicians joining NUP are not doing it for fame or favors, but to give back to the fans who have supported their music throughout their careers.
