Musician King Saha has sparked fresh controversy after claiming he is currently the only international artiste representing Uganda on the global stage.

The Zakayo hitmaker, known for his outspoken nature, made the remarks while speaking to local media, insisting that his music is spreading rapidly across borders and earning him recognition worldwide.

“I am the only international artiste in Uganda at the moment. I perform everywhere across the world, and my music continues to spread,” King Saha stated confidently.

Saha went on to suggest that other Ugandan artistes have not yet reached his level internationally, saying he is carrying the country’s music flag singlehandedly.

However, his comments have drawn mixed reactions from fans and industry observers, many of whom argue that artistes such as Joshua Baraka, Azawi, and Elijah Kitaka are currently making stronger global impressions.

It’s also worth noting that Eddy Kenzo remains Uganda’s biggest international music export, with a BET Award, numerous international recognitions, and a Grammy nomination to his name.
