Musician King Saha has revealed why he decided to go ahead with his concert despite being actively involved in Bobi Wine’s political struggle.

The singer, who has been performing at several NUP rallies across Busoga and Buganda regions, confirmed that his concert will take place on 21st of this month at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.

His announcement sparked mixed reactions, with some Ugandans questioning his decision to stage a concert at a time when the country is “struggling for change.”

Speaking in an interview with a local TV station, King Saha explained that his decision was purely for financial independence and to support others in the struggle, including political prisoners.

“I have decided to organize the concert for the good of other people, including political prisoners because they need money as well. I also don’t want to be begging from government like other musicians,” he said.

King Saha emphasized that being part of the struggle doesn’t mean musicians should stop working. He believes the proceeds from the concert will benefit the movement and empower fellow Ugandans.
