Musician Nina Kakunda, popularly known as Nina Roz, has officially announced a new date for her much-anticipated maiden concert, moving it from December 4 to December 11, 2026.
The singer had initially scheduled her concert on the same day as events announced by fellow musicians Jose Chameleone and Chris Evans, sparking speculation that the date change was meant to avoid a clash. However, Nina Roz has dismissed those claims, insisting that the decision was made for other reasons.
“I have decided to move the concert to the 11th of December for some good reasons. I wouldn’t want to go deep into them, but it is not because of the clash with Jose Chameleone and Chris Evans,” she explained in an interview with a local television station.
Reports suggest that Nina Roz is planning to stage the concert at Africana Hotel in Kampala, and that the original date had already been reserved for another event at the venue.
The upcoming show will mark a major milestone in Nina Roz’s career, as it will be her first-ever concert despite having spent close to a decade in Uganda’s music industry.
Fans are now eagerly awaiting further details about the concert as the singer prepares to deliver one of the biggest performances of her career.
