Feb. 6, Howwe.biz broke the story "O.P.U had inked a deal with Maisha Magic Channel 161 on DSTV". We finally landed on a clip posted on the rapper’s Facebook page being endorsed by music legend Maurice Kirya on the regional channel. It turns out that O.P.U will be part of a reality TV show that airs every Monday on the channel.
The video shows O.P.U meeting up with Maurice Kiirya at his studio and playing tracks for the music icon.
In past interviews O.P.U has openly shown his admiration for Kiirya’s style of music and business and now stands a chance to be mentored by the music star.
The clip also shows other major stars like Rabbit and Nameless of Kenya plus our very own Jose Chameleon handpicking artists to mentor in the reality TV show dubbed “Maisha Superstar”.
The reality TV show is produced by “Endemol” the same production house responsible for “Big Brother Africa” and rapper T.I’s “Family Hustle” among other international programs and shows.
Alongside O.P.U, Maurice also selected to represent Uganda Richie Kaweesa and Body of Brayan.
