President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will Tuesday commission the newly refurbished Ggaba water works complex.

According to Samuel Apedelo the National water and sewerage corporation spokesperson, the water works complex is expected to supply more volumes of clean water to the residents of Kampala.

Apedero explains that the refurbished system at Ggaba water works will add 50 million liters per day in Kampala.

Currently, Kampala residents use 2.4 million, mil litres daily, yet more people are coming to the city. Apedero says the more the residents, the more the water they will use.

The water mouthpiece also says they are working on extending water to all other parts of the country.
