
The family of fallen former Environment Minister, Maria Mutagamba and government has released a joint burial arrangement.
The fallen minister, also former Member of Parliament representing the women of Rakai district, will be accorded state burial.
According to the burial arrangements released this morning, the body was today Monday 26th June 2017 taken to Rubaga Cathedral for a requiem mass at 10am.
From Church, the body will be taken to her town home in Nakasozi, Buddo near Nabingo for viewing, before another mass led by Fr. Expedito Magembe takes place at home at 5pm and later in the night vigil.
Tomorrow Tuesday 27th June 2017, the body will lay in State at Parliament from 10:00am to 2:00 pm; later at 2:00pm MPs will pay their last respects to the departed colleague.
The motion will be moved by Prime Minister and seconded by the Leader of Opposition in Parliament.
Thereafter, at 5:00pm the body will; be to her ancestral home in Gamba Village, Kakuuto County, Rakai District, where a night vigil will be held, ahead of burial set for Wednesday 28th June 2017 she will be laid to rest.
