Two people have been injured following clashes between supporters of Johnson Odeke and Charles Peter Obelon, both candidates in the LCIII race for Ngora Sub County in Ngora district.

The two men identified as Peter Okoboi and Samuel Okello residents of Apama Village, are supporters of Odeke and they were injured at Kalengo Polling Station.

Okoboi, Okello and many others fought with supporters of Obelon following reports that the candidate was bribing voters with 1,000 Shillings.

The money was being distributed to every voter along the Mbale Trading Center and Ogolitome Primary School Road.

This angered Odeke's camp and resulted into the fight. The Police was called in and say investigations are underway.
