Struggling Independent presidential candidate, Elton Joseph Mabirizi and his campaign team have prepared a "Mock Election" slated to take place on Friday 12th February 2016 ahead of the official election slated for 18th February 2016.
The Mock elections will be held in selected areas around Kampala, Masaka, Mbale, Mbarara, Hoima, Arua and Hoima.
According to a statement released to the media and received by our Editor, the group calls on all presidential candidates interested in the mock elections to send representatives to confirm their participation to obtain credible results.
Mabirizi recently gained fame after making a fool out of himself by failing to answer at least 90% of all questions fired at him during the first presidential debate.
The group claims their objectives include following ;
To provide realistic data for practical opinion polls before the official- general elections, to avoid wasting tax payers' money, through organizing a re-run of elections. After the mock exercise, the six trailing candidates will be encouraged to ally with either of the two leading candidates in the race.
