The Chief of Defence forces Gen. Katumba Wamala has come up to laugh off and clear air on the claims that he has been arrested and detained in a miltary barracks.
Addressing media yesterday evening, Gen. Katumba said the information is scrap. He asked the public to treat the information with the contempt it deserves.
The rumor was started on social media on the Thursday and spread everywhere to the extent caused excitement among opposition forcing him to clear the allegations.
“The is some information going on social media which is causing excitement in the public and confusion to the effect that Gen. Katumba has been arrested and is now incarcerated in Makindye Military police prison,” he said.
