Rwandan President Paul Kagame has become the latest world leader to congratulate incumbent Yoweri Museveni upon winning a fifth term in office.
A statement signed by the Rwandan leader partly reads that the win is 'certainly a reflection of the trust the Ugandan people have in your [Museveni] ability'.
Rwanda joins Burundi, Russia, South Africa, Kenya and North Korea, countries that have already sent in their congratulatory messages.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uganda and has the honour to transmit hereafter, a congratulatory message that H.E Paul Kagame, President of Republic of Rwanda, addresses to H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on the occassion of his re-election as President of Republic of Uganda.
