A verbal war has broken up between the fast-rising artiste Walukagga Shafik alias Fik Fameica and Galaxy FM presenter, Jonathan Nalebo.

Our snoops have come to learn that while reporting the trending gossip and entertainment news on  his "PokoPoko" segment and on DJ Nimrod's show "Mid-Morning Tukone" at the Kansanga based radio station, the self-proclaimed "Slay king" accused the young rapper of copying "Pepeta" from Tanzania's sensational singer, ChinBees and pasting it onto his new single "Mafia" that was released at his #KutamaLifeFiesta concert at Freedom City a few days ago.

However, we have come to learn that this was not digested well by the "Kutama" hitmaker. He was quoted by our snoops saying that Nalebo is just an ignorant boy from Busoga.

"Copying an artiste is when you use their lyrics on your project but mentioning a similar rhyme in a beat, you attribute it to an artiste, not a producer. It shows your ignorant about music. I pray you get better," he said.

Despite Fik Fameica's frustrations, it is true that his "Mafia" song is a replica of ChinBees's song, "Pepeta".

The 'copy and paste'  culture is very common in Ugandan's music industry.  Artistes like Bebe Cool, FeFe Buusi, Geosteady and Gravity Omutujju among others have been accused several times of 'lifting' people's work.

This war might not end soon so we shall keep you posted.
