Singer Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool has bashed Western Ugandan musicians who warned him not to perform in Mbarara.
He says artists with such beliefs and minds are ignorant and naive.
He said they need to work harder and produce good music that is the only way they will perform at NRM events.
"People with such beliefs are ignorant and naive. They should work harder to produce good music. If they can't attract numbers, how do they expect to perform at NRM shows?. People like Ray G are not complaining, musicians without songs are coming out to attack Bebe Cool. I plead with them to give us good music," he said during a local television Interview.
Last week, a group of Mbarara musicians warned Bebe Cool, Catherine Kusasira and other Buganda performing artistes to stay away from Mbarara NRM events.
