A few days ago, NTV news anchor Faridah Nakazibwe through her Twitter account attacked Hon. Speaker of Parliament, Rabecca Kadaga after she backed and approved that MPs should receive Ugx 20M each to sensitize masses in their constituencies about COVID-19 pandemic.

Faridah Nakazibwe’s response was too cruel that pressure from her employers, NTV and  fans forced her to apologise.

“Rabecca Kadaga, the language I used in my last Retweet to you was offensive and uncalled for. I apologise. While I still disagree with the decision by parliament, I should be able to do so without being offensive,” she tweeted.

Hon. Kadaga ,however, claimed she was not aware that she had been insulted by Nakazibwe but insisted she would take legal action if necessary.

Alternative sources says Nakazibwe is under pressure at her workplace. It is alleged that her NTV bosses are not happy with her and she may face an axe.

They accuse her of tainting the image of the brand.
