Presidential advisor Jennifer Nakanguubi, also known as Full Figure, was brutally assaulted by two men in late August as she approached the NRM headquarters in Kampala.
She was severely beaten and brutalized, which led to her hospitalization in a Kampala hospital.
In an interview with Salt Television, Full Figure confirmed the assault and revealed that investigations are underway to ensure the culprits are arrested.
The presidential advisor explained that she did not retaliate during the attack for her own safety. She chose to walk away peacefully rather than fight back, trusting the law to take its course.
She believes the attackers were seeking relevance and that is why they recorded themselves during the assault.
"I have never attacked anyone who has not first attacked me. They attack me for relevance; others have opened channels and only gain relevance and followers when they talk about me. I am their source of income, but they are using it wrongly. The people we spend the most time with often turn around and hurt us the worst," she explained.
Allegations suggest the assault was masterminded by her rival, Justine Nameere. However, Nameere has publicly denied any involvement.
