Events promoter Nobart Events has spent most of this year embroiled in verbal spats with members of the Mayanja family.
He has previously clashed with Pallaso and Weasel, and more recently, he has been involved in a public exchange with legendary singer Jose Chameleone.
Over the weekend, Chameleone issued a warning to the promoter, expressing disappointment and cautioning him against further attacks.
“Nobart promoter, I don’t know why you have a problem with me. I have never worked with you as a promoter, yet you seem to have an issue with me. Personally, I have no problem with you, but you speak unfactual things and spread hate towards me. Please stop disrespecting me because I have never been part of your story. Going forward, I will take you head-on and demand facts if you continue engaging me,” Chameleone said.
On Monday afternoon, Nobart responded, announcing that he had decided to stop attacking Jose Chameleone and would instead focus on supporting President Museveni ahead of next year’s elections.
He also revealed that his superiors had advised him to cease the attacks.
“My bosses asked me to stop attacking Jose Chameleone. I have given up on you and will never speak harshly about you again. I have taken this decision out of respect for my bosses, but never threaten me again. I am now focusing on mobilizing support for President Museveni,” Nobart said in a video making rounds online.
