Rapper Mark Da Urban has sparked conversation after claiming that legendary musician Jose Chameleone is jealous of Bobi Wine’s rising political and social influence across Uganda.
Speaking in an interview with a local YouTuber, Mark Da Urban stated that Chameleone’s unsuccessful political attempts have fueled envy toward Bobi Wine, whose popularity continues to grow nationwide.
He added that Chameleone, despite his status in the music industry, has no power to diminish Bobi Wine’s influence.
“Bobi Wine is the youngest of Chameleone and Bebe Cool, but his influence across the country humiliates them. Chameleone has failed to accept this and feels jealous. That’s why he keeps attacking Bobi Wine. But he can’t stop his growth—he will just keep crying crocodile tears with no effect,” he said.
Mark Da Urban was responding to Chameleone’s recent remarks claiming he could “overthrow Bobi Wine in a day” if the NUP leader ever became president.
Chameleone’s comments have ignited heated debates online and across various media platforms.
