Musician Tracy Melon has continued to receive praise for her impressive breakthrough this year, with fellow artiste Aaronix crowning her the best-performing female musician of the year.
Tracy Melon released a string of songs in 2025 that have dominated charts and playlists, including “Ogenda Kukilaba,” “Tovayo,” “Sumagiza,” and “Totta,” the latter featuring Kataleya and Kandle. Her steady output and growing fan base have earned her recognition across the industry.
Speaking during an interview with a local podcast, Aaronix said Tracy Melon stood above all her peers this year, ranking her higher than established names such as Sheebah, Azawi, Jazmine, and Vinka.
“Tracy Melon has done so well this year. In all honesty, she is the female artiste of the year. She has delivered and remained consistent throughout,” Aaronix said.
He added that Tracy Melon’s discipline and musical growth set her apart from other female musicians in the industry this year.
Aaronix also revealed plans to collaborate with Tracy Melon on his upcoming album set for release next year.
“I will be featuring her on my next album alongside Jazmine and a few other artistes,” he added.
Tracy Melon’s rising dominance continues to position her as one of the strongest female voices in Uganda’s music industry, with many now watching closely to see how far her momentum will carry her in the coming year.
