Barbie Kyagulanyi, the wife of opposition leader Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine), has publicly questioned the Chief of Defence Forces, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, over remarks she says he made about her husband.
Speaking during a visit by religious leaders to their home in Magere, Kasangati, Barbie said she was disturbed by comments allegedly made by Muhoozi in which he demanded Bobi Wine’s “testicles.”
Barbie wondered why the army chief would make such statements and described them as inappropriate and disturbing.
“Muhoozi said that he wants my man’s testicles, yet he has his own. I don’t understand why he is obsessed with my husband,” Barbie said.
She added that the remarks were made at a time when her family is already under heavy security surveillance.
Earlier, Barbie claimed that soldiers had surrounded their home for days, restricted their movement, and blocked visitors from delivering food, leaving the family struggling.
She says the situation is part of continued intimidation against her husband and their household.
