Singer Martha Mukisa has once again poured praise on her mentor, Eddy Kenzo, describing him as one of the most humble and inspiring figures in the Ugandan music industry.
The “Tondeka E Kiwatule” hitmaker revealed that the Big Talent boss and presidential advisor remains her biggest musical inspiration, and the person who has guided her throughout her career.
Martha said Kenzo’s humility and human character are the main reasons she continues to learn from him, noting that despite his status, he remains down to earth and approachable.
She further praised Kenzo for not holding grudges and for welcoming everyone, including critics and people who speak negatively about him.
“Eddy Kenzo is my mentor. He has inspired me a lot and I have learnt so much from him. He is very down to earth and welcomes everyone regardless of everything. He doesn’t carry grudges. Even when you speak badly about him publicly, he welcomes you with open hands,” Martha Mukisa said in an interview with a local television station.
Martha’s comments have since warmed the hearts of fans, with many applauding Kenzo for maintaining humility despite his massive success both locally and internationally.
The two artists have often been seen working closely, with Kenzo playing a key role in shaping Martha’s musical journey.
