Media personality Christine Nampeera has opened up about one of the most difficult periods of her public life, revealing how advice from her father helped her cope after a private video of hers leaked online.
Rather than encouraging her to hide from the public or avoid social media, Nampeera says her father challenged her to confront the situation head-on and face whatever came with it.
Speaking during a local podcast interview, she recalled the advice that helped her navigate the intense public scrutiny.
“When the video leaked, I got advice from my daddy. He told me to face it. He told me not to run. He told me, ‘Look at the comments, the videos people are making, you need it.’ I actually don't run away from my problems. I face them head-on,” she said.

Nampeera said her father's approach helped her develop the courage to confront the criticism rather than allow the incident to define her.
The experience, she explained, taught her to deal with difficult situations directly, regardless of how uncomfortable public reaction may become.
