Singer Sheebah Karungi has come to the defence of fellow musician Crysto Panda amid his ongoing public feud with Gloria Bugie, condemning what she described as the use of personal grief as a weapon in an argument.
The disagreement between Panda and Bugie has recently escalated, with the two musicians exchanging harsh remarks over their careers and personal lives.
Tensions reportedly reached another level after Bugie referenced Panda's painful losses, including the deaths of his parents and child.
The remarks drew criticism from Sheebah, who argued that someone's deepest moments of grief should never be used to attack them.
“If you are the kind of human being who can use someone's greatest loss of a mother, a father, or a child as a weapon to attack them, then you are an evil spirit. Whatever differences you two have, you simply don't do something like that. Fix your heart's posture young girl. Anti oyagala buto,” she partly said.
Sheebah Calls Panda
Sheebah revealed that she personally reached out to Panda, encouraging him to walk away from the confrontation despite understanding why he was hurt and angry.
“I am so sorry, Panda, that this happened to you. I called you yesterday because I genuinely wanted you to stop cause I know who you are, a decent human being,” she added.
The singer acknowledged the common expectation that a man should avoid engaging in a fight with a woman, but argued that such expectations should not invalidate Panda's emotions or excuse personal attacks.
