Pastor Justine Nabbosa has finally addressed long-running rumours that she was once romantically involved with fellow gospel minister Pastor Wilson Bugembe, insisting that the two have always been just friends.
Nabbosa said the rumours gained attention in the media despite there being no romantic relationship between her and Bugembe.
She acknowledged that Bugembe supported her during her single days, including helping her with rent and other needs, but said his generosity was purely based on their friendship.
“I’m a married woman, but we’re still close friends with Pastor Wilson Bugembe. The rumours about us being an item were untrue and false. We’re still friends to date,” she said.
According to Nabbosa, she was still single when speculation about their relationship was at its peak, which made it easier for people to link the two.
However, she said the rumours eventually died down after she got married.
“By that time, I had not yet got married, but when I tied the knot, everything got sorted and cleared,” she explained.
Nabbosa maintained that despite the years of speculation, she and Bugembe have remained close friends and continue to share a strong bond based on friendship and mutual support.
