The Police in Amuria have caged a merciless woman accused of clobbering her husband to death.
The suspect Helen Christine Akwii, a resident of Acedet Village, Acowa Sub County in Amuria district clobbered her husband William Odukul using a hand hoe.
According to Michael Odongo, the East Kyoga Region Police Spokesman, the couple has been feuding for some time over unresolved disputes.
Close family sources indicate that the couple separated beds five years ago after testing for HIV/Aids and was found to be discordant, but the infected wife and now suspect has been luring Odukul to return to their marital bed in vain.
Records at the East Kyoga Region Police Headquarters show that 18 cases of domestic violence leading to death have been committed in the past six months.
