Not so long ago, NTV presenter Faridah Nakazibwe introduced her husband, Omar Ssali, to her parents in Masaka. But what is intriguing, Omar was not there. She paraded a portrait of him to her friends and relatives. She was flanked by her sisters and a few close friends. Howwe has learnt that Omar could not make it because his bosses could not grant him a leave.
“The whole thing was never planned in time. To get a leave from his job, like any other in Dubai, one must inform his bosses in advance, at least three months earlier. Omar did not know Faridah’s plans in time,” says a source.
The source says he will be coming at the end of the year and the two will hold a proper occasion.
