Last month, musician Diamond Platnumz headlined a coffee marathon that took place in Ntungamo District in Western Uganda.
The event also brought together Ugandan artistes including Eddy Kenzo, Bebe Cool, Ray G, Sister Charity, among others.
Following the event, reports emerged indicating Diamond Platnumz was paid a whopping 750 million Ugandan shillings, something which raised a storm among Ugandan artistes.
Kenzo also expressed bitterness towards Diamond Platnumz and has consistently called him out for disrespecting Ugandan artistes.
The latest we have gathered is that Diamond Platnumz refused to meet Eddy Kenzo before his performance at the coffee marathon.
Gossip monger Jenkins explained Kenzo sought an audience with the Tanzanian singer as he wanted to ask for a collaboration, but the Wasafi boss ignored his invitation.
"Diamond Platnumz refused to meet Eddy Kenzo. He actually first wondered who he was, something which angered Kenzo, even to this day. He wanted to discuss a collaboration with him, but the Tanzanian only wanted to work with Chameleone," Jenkins Mukasa explained.
He alleges Diamond Platnumz was only willing to go into a discussion with Jose Chameleone, something which bitterly angered the Big Talent boss, even to this day.
