Controversial politician and businessman Abraham Luzzi has cautioned young couples against soliciting funds for their weddings.
Luzzi argues that crowdsourcing wedding funds breeds disrespect, which he believes is why many marriages fail before reaching their first anniversary.
He admitted that he personally would never contribute to a wedding fund, emphasizing that such commitments should only be made when a person can fully cover the costs themselves.
"Don't have a wedding if you are not ready. I will never facilitate someone's wedding event. This is why some women lose respect for their husbands and may look elsewhere. Even those who facilitate the event might harass the woman, demanding favors in return. Many marriages have failed because of that," he explained during an interview with a local television station.
