Musician and renowned producer Eddy Yaawe has credited his long-standing competition with fellow musician Mesach Semakula for contributing to his personal and financial growth.
Speaking in an interview with the local press, Yaawe described his relationship with Semakula as one built on healthy competition, saying it has pushed him to improve himself over the years.
He explained that he has always paid attention to Semakula’s moves, using the singer’s achievements as motivation to work harder and aim higher.
According to Yaawe, the friendly rivalry has not only strengthened his career but also contributed to his financial success.
“I have a long relationship with Mesach Semakula, and it has come with competition. I have long competed against him, but it is good competition which has helped me to develop. I am rich because whenever he does something, I would want to come and do better,” he partly explained.
