Musician King Saha has questioned Joshua Baraka’s pursuit of international music success, suggesting that his fellow artiste could be investing his time and resources in a dream that may not pay off.
Speaking to friends during a TikTok Live session, Saha said Baraka’s ambition to break into international markets comes with huge financial demands and no guarantee of success.
The singer argued that people close to Baraka should stop simply cheering him on and instead give him an honest assessment of the challenges involved in chasing global recognition.
“When I see him, I’ll tell him that what he’s trying to chase is a long game. All the best, but as I see it, it’s not worth it,” Saha said.
He further questioned whether the financial investment required to compete internationally was worth the uncertainty.
“First of all, it requires a huge budget, and secondly, you can’t know how far you’re going,” he added.
