Uganda’s fierce femcee Recho Rey has made a shocking confession — and it’s not about music!
Speaking during an interview on a local television station, the rapper boldly declared that men are simply too intimidated to shoot their shot.
Yes, you read that right.
Despite being one of the most dominant female voices in Uganda’s hip-hop scene, Recho Rey says her love life is… nonexistent.
“Men are afraid of me. I don't have a boyfriend, men actually fear me. The messages come but they don't follow through,” she revealed.
According to the rapper, while her inbox is not exactly dry, the problem is consistency. Some men gather the courage to confess their feelings via DM — but disappear before anything serious can blossom.
And just like that, they miss their chance.
Recho Rey, who entered the industry years ago with a tomboy image, has since evolved into a confident, glamorous powerhouse. But it seems her strong personality and success might be scaring potential suitors away.
Is it fear? Intimidation? Or just men who can’t handle a queen?
