Singer Tracy Melon has revealed that financial gain is not her main motivation in the music industry.
Despite being one of the most booked artists in Uganda, Tracy Melon says her journey in music is driven by passion rather than the pursuit of money.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, the singer described music as something she cannot live without.
“I do music for satisfaction. It’s the passion I have for it. I just can’t live without music. I release music after being very satisfied with it personally,” she said.
She explained that she spends most of her time creating music to fulfill her personal desires and artistic standards.
However, Tracy Melon acknowledged that music has also become a business for her, meaning she still earns from performances and offers her services professionally.
Her remarks highlight a balance between passion and business—doing what she loves while still benefiting from her growing influence in the industry.
