Musician Ragga Dee has been active in the Ugandan music industry for over thirty years and continues to be a strong voice on industry matters.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Ragga Dee alleged that many Ugandan musicians are broke and struggling to make a living.
He explained that while many artistes portray a luxurious lifestyle on social media, the reality is that some of them are facing financial difficulties and living beyond their means.
"Ugandan artistes are broke, but they don't want to accept it. They don't have money and are struggling. Many of them are living miserable lives out there, and I say this with authority because I have been in the industry long enough to understand when someone is struggling," he explained.
Ragga Dee further advised musicians to live humble lifestyles, save their money, and plan for a better future.
