Singer Gloria Bugie has taken a cheeky swipe at fellow artiste Crysto Panda, suggesting she is more qualified to teach him how to sing than to seek a collaboration with him.
Bugie made the remarks while responding to questions about her relationship with the NTV and NRG Radio presenter, who has previously made comments that appeared to spark tension between the two.
Speaking in an interview with a local YouTuber, Bugie downplayed suggestions that she has a problem with Panda, pointing to the difference in their experience in the music industry.
“First of all, I am not of his generation, so why would I have a problem with him? He has sung for more than seven years and I am just making three years in the music industry,” she said.
‘Who Is Giving Who a Chance?’
When asked whether she would consider working with Panda if given the opportunity, Bugie turned the question around, suggesting that the singer is the one who could benefit from a collaboration with her.
Rather than asking Panda for a chance, she joked that he should approach her for lessons.
“Who is giving who a chance? Maybe he should come and I give him one. I can teach him how to sing and hit those notes,” she added.
Bugie's comments are likely to fuel the growing conversation around her relationship with Panda, although she maintains that their differences are not serious enough to constitute a feud.
