The Kyabazing arrived aboard an Emirates flight amid cheers from his subjects who trekked form Jinja to the airport to welcome him back home.
Dr. Joseph Muvawala the Busoga Kingdom premier, Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga and her arch rival Salamu Musumba, as well as Dr. Kiyingi Asuman and many other Busoga heads led thousands of people who welcomed him.
Initial preparations indicated that the thousands would wait at Lido beach which is a few meters from the Airport, while a few dignitaries would pick him from the airport and join later.
Upon arrival, Gabula could not hide the joy upon seeing a mammoth of crowds that came to pick and welcome him back home. Also in attendance was Busoga RNB Singer Ronald Magada alias Maro.
