Singer Bobi Wine Survives Deadly Accident!

Ghetto president, H.E Bobi Wine, at the begining of this month demonstrated leading by example, when he mobilised youth in Kamwokya to block a road.

The action was in protest of Kampala Capital City Authority [KCCA] negligence that saw a pothole on Old Kira Road cause an accident that luckily didn’t claim lives.

Road users say they have been complaining about the pothole but authorities did nothing.

Following his message to KCCA, the city authority came in action for the last couple of weeks. KCCA released a statement to the public about the status of the Old Kiira road however they left work unfinished.

A week later, Bobi Wine alerted them and even threatened to finish the work himself.....

Dear KCCA, I salute you with warm seasonal greetings and hoping you're all having a happy festive season. For us here in Kamwokya we are having a terrible time.A few weeks ago,we complained about a dangerous hole in the road which had even claimed lives,we brought it your attention via social media and the response was amazing. A team from Kcca showed up,excavated the hole even deeper,delivered carraverts that very day, the road was closed and work seemed to have began. However, today it's almost THREE WEEKS and nothing more has been done. Meanwhile old kira road remains closed,and dangerous to even to pedestrians.Business around the place has all come to a STAND STILL and this has greatly affected our people this festive season.Needless to mention the TRAFFIC JAM on Kira road which stretches even beyond Kamwokya.This road is the life of our community. Ofcourse this is not the appropriate platform to address this issue but we were left with no option since we can't easily access your office. I am PERSONALLY GREATLY AFFECTED because all this is right infront of SSEMAKOKIRO PLAZA.
BOTTOM LINE;We understand that community infrastructure maintainance is our responsibility too, so on behalf of my community and on my own behalf, I am requesting for permission to fix this trench. We shall come together as a community have it done before Christmas. IF PERMISSION IS GRANTED.

Today, the same road injured people's lives......and the Singer Bobi Wine also claims to have survived an accident which happened at his Shopping mall called "Ssemakokiro building".

Dear KCCA,I would like to inform you that your DEATH TRAP is doing great. Today morning,the trench you refused to fix has caused another accident. Many people were injured,I survived narrowly,part our Ssemakokiro building was demolished as you can see in the pictures.We have been begging you to do your duty but you refused,we asked you to give us PERMISSION TO SAVE OUR OWN LIVES,you refused. WHAT DO YOU WANT US TO DO,HOW MANY MORE PEOPLE MUST DIE BEFORE YOU DO SOMETHING??? Why is a two days work taking more than two months. The people are preparing to demostrate and they will be justified.
