Media personality and now politician, Tuff B, quit hosting television after over fifteen years in the industry.
Tuff B, who hosted NBS KUT, says he does not regret leaving television for politics. He says he did it all and is living comfortably away from it.
Tuff B explained that he built a big brand across the East African region. He reached his peak and left space for other people to benefit.
"I don't regret leaving television because I did it all. I built a big brand across the East African region and I am known throughout the whole region for doing my part," he explained in an interview with a local television station.
He says that, unlike in the old days, media has lost its space to everyone, and the job has lost respect because it has been taken up by unprofessional people who are just focused on making money.
"Things have since changed; the job lost respect because everyone can do it. You just wake up one day and start hosting shows on television," he added.
Tuff B is currently running for the Member of Parliament position in the Makindye East Constituency. He is contesting for the NUP ticket.
He, however, faces competition from the incumbent, Derrick Nyeko, who is a popular figure at the party headquarters.
