Minister of State for Finance Haruna Kasolo has responded to allegations made by musician King Saha, who earlier this week claimed that Kasolo, together with security heads in Kyotera District, influenced the cancellation of his music concert at the last minute.
According to Saha, the concert was stopped due to his growing political influence and strong support for the National Unity Platform (NUP), which he believes threatened the Minister.
“They are afraid of me. Kasolo ordered the RPC and DPC to cancel my concert, but I will not give up. I will keep demanding for justice and fight to the end,” King Saha said.
However, Minister Kasolo has dismissed the accusations, saying he has no authority over music concerts and has zero involvement in decisions affecting entertainment events.
“Am I an events promoter to stop your show? I have no control over your concerts. The accusations are baseless and I think he is just seeking sympathy,” Kasolo responded.
He emphasized that entertainment shows fall under specific regulatory bodies and security protocols—not the Ministry of Finance.
Kasolo further urged the public not to be misled by what he described as politically motivated claims.
The cancellation has sparked conversation online, with fans demanding clarity on whether the move was politically driven or simply a procedural decision by security authorities.
