Rapper Gravity Omutujju has taken a stance in the ongoing dispute between Ziza Bafana and Eddy Kenzo over access to funds from the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) SACCO.
Speaking during a TikTok discussion, Gravity expressed support for Ziza Bafana, stating that he deserves financial assistance if he is a registered member of the musicians’ SACCO.
Gravity noted that Bafana has had a long-standing presence in the music industry and should be supported financially.
“I support Ziza Bafana for obvious reasons. He is a musician with a recognizable presence in the industry and has stood the test of time. He deserves to receive funding because that is what the money was meant for — to support musicians,” he explained in an interview with a local television station.
Ziza Bafana is currently engaged in a verbal exchange with Eddy Kenzo and the UNMF over alleged failure to access funds from the SACCO.
