Musician Mansur Ssemanda, popularly known as King Saha, on Monday paid a courtesy visit to the Katikkiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga, at Bulange in Mengo.
During the meeting, the two reportedly discussed a range of issues concerning the music industry, youth development, and matters affecting Buganda Kingdom.
According to sources, one of the key issues raised by King Saha was his desire to mend relations with fellow musician Pallaso following their recent public fallout.
It is alleged that the singer sought the Katikkiro's guidance and mediation in an effort to reconcile with Pallaso and restore peace between the two artists.
Sources further indicate that King Saha expressed a willingness to put their differences aside and move forward amicably for the good of the music industry.
The reported reconciliation efforts come weeks after tensions between the two musicians escalated, attracting significant attention from fans and industry stakeholders.
Pallaso is regarded as one of the musicians with a close relationship to the Buganda Kingdom and has on several occasions participated in kingdom-related events and activities.
Neither King Saha, Pallaso, nor the Buganda Kingdom had officially commented on the reported mediation efforts by the time of publication.
Many music industry observers have welcomed the possibility of reconciliation, arguing that unity among artists is essential for the growth and development of Uganda's entertainment sector.
