Dancehall artiste King Micheal has been off the music radar for years. The last time he had a hit, youngster, Fresh Kid, was not yet born.

King Micheal, however, has high hopes of reviving his career. He says he had to ditch his obligations at the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) to concentrate on his career.

“I wasted a lot of time serving in UMA. I realized the things we were pushing were not implemented. UMA is full of people who are interested in personal gains. I chose to build my career,” he says.

He has already compiled an album which he says will be released soon.

He is responsible for songs like "Muko Muko", "Kiri Kitya" and others.
