Musician Sheebah Karungi has recently been under fire from different members of the Uganda National Musician Federation (UNMF) who don't believe in her leadership skills.

They include musicians Mamuri Katumba and Full Figure and some journalists who claim they were disrespected by the "Nkujukila" singer.

Sheebah said in an interview that she is not interested in leadership but wants a better industry.

She is focused on leaving behind a great legacy. She wants to be counted among those who did good for the music industry of Uganda.

"Leadership is not a big deal but standing up for what you believe in is. Standing up for my business and others who may not want to speak but share their opinions with me is more important. I want to be remembered as someone who contributed to the growth of the industry,” she said in an interview with a local television.

Sheebah Karungi is the Vice President of the Uganda National Musicians Federation.
