Rising musician Joshua Baraka has stated that he sees no reason to join the Uganda Musicians Association and the federation.
During an interview with NTV Uganda, Baraka explained that these groups of musicians don't offer any significant benefits to artists. He likened them to mere social drinking clubs.
The singer mentioned that he would consider joining either the Association or the federation only if they can present a compelling rationale to him.
"I don't see any reason to join the Association or any of those groups because I haven't found any value in them yet, as a musician," he stated.
Joshua Baraka is the artist behind the song "Nana," which dominated the airwaves earlier this year.
