Different people always have those they look up to, and many times they are inspired by their work to do something better.

It is the same case with celebrated musician Levixone, who drew inspiration from Pastor Wilson Bugembe to join gospel music.

Speaking to journalists on Tuesday this week, Levixone praised Wilson Bugembe for showing him the way and paving it for many other gospel artists in the industry.

He explained that Wilson Bugembe is the pillar of gospel music in the country and should be celebrated for his work towards the growth of God's kingdom.

"Pastor Wilson Bugembe opened the door for many of us. If he hadn’t taken the bold step to sing, some of us wouldn’t be where we are today. He lit the way and showed us it’s possible. We glorify God for his 20-year journey because it has not been an easy road," he explained.

Levixone spoke as Pastor Wilson Bugembe was addressing journalists ahead of his concert.

Wilson Bugembe will be celebrating twenty years of making music at a grand event set to take place on the 8th of August this year at Serena Hotel.

Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Judith Babirye, among a few others, are credited for boosting the gospel music industry. They took it from the church to people's homes, bars, and streets.
